Treat Casa Romantica as history, not a style instruction
Casa Romantica's institutional history describes founder Ole Hanson's 1927 Spanish Colonial Revival home and its later life as a museum, gardens, and performing-arts center owned by the City. That history can sharpen architectural observation, but it cannot authenticate an artwork, prove local ownership, establish City endorsement of a listing, or dictate a private interior's aesthetic.
For the proposed purchase, record maker, title, date, medium, support, framed and image dimensions, weight, edition details when applicable, condition, and documented ownership history. Save recent photographs of the face, reverse, edges, labels, signature, frame joints, and hardware. If a listing invokes Casa Romantica, Ole Hanson, or a historic property, ask for the document supporting that link and avoid expanding it beyond the evidence.
