About the Artist & Paintings
Who is the artist behind Lei-Kol Fine Art?
Lei-Kol is an Arizona-based abstract artist known for heavy-texture acrylic paintings built up in dimensional layers using palette knives and impasto techniques. Each painting is an original, one-of-a-kind work — never a print, edition, or reproduction. Learn more on our About the Artist page.
Are all Lei-Kol paintings original?
Yes. Every Lei-Kol painting is an original, one-of-a-kind work of art. We do not sell prints, editions, or reproductions. When you purchase a Lei-Kol painting, it is the only one in existence. Read about original art vs. prints to understand the difference.
What makes the heavy-texture style unique?
Lei-Kol builds paintings in dimensional acrylic layers using palette knives, creating a sculptural, three-dimensional surface that changes with the light and viewing angle. This impasto technique means no two paintings are ever alike — even if the same palette were attempted twice, the texture would be completely different. It is art you experience with your eyes and the impulse to reach out and touch.
Pricing & Payment
What is the price range for an original Lei-Kol painting?
Original Lei-Kol paintings range from $999 for smaller works (24×30 inches) to $3,499 for large statement pieces (48×60 inches). See the full price guide for a detailed breakdown of each tier and what is included at every price point.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), DAI, USDC, and other major cryptocurrencies. PayPal is also available for buyers who prefer traditional payment. Learn more about buying art with crypto and how the process works.
Is there a fee to pay with crypto?
No. We charge no conversion fees or premiums for cryptocurrency payments. You pay the agreed USD price at the prevailing exchange rate. Your only additional cost is the standard blockchain network fee for your transaction, which depends on your wallet and the cryptocurrency you choose.
Can I pay with a credit card?
PayPal payments can be funded by credit card without a PayPal account in most countries. We do not process credit cards directly through our site to minimize data collection and maximize your privacy. If you need a credit card invoice, contact us and we can accommodate most situations.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship to most countries worldwide. USA shipping is always free. International shipping is quoted per piece based on size and destination — we provide a firm quote before you commit to purchase. See our shipping and returns page for full details.
How is the artwork packaged for shipping?
Every painting is secured in a custom-built wooden crate sized precisely to your piece with corner protectors, foam padding, and moisture barriers. Every shipment is fully insured for the full purchase value. Our shipping page explains the entire process.
How long does delivery take?
USA deliveries typically arrive in 5-10 business days from shipment. International timelines vary by destination, generally 2-4 weeks depending on customs clearance. You will receive tracking information and an estimated delivery window when your painting ships.
Who handles customs and import duties?
The buyer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or VAT assessed by your country upon delivery. We provide all necessary documentation — commercial invoice, certificate of authenticity, and packing list — to streamline clearance. Crypto payments can simplify cross-border transactions by avoiding bank currency conversion fees.
Returns & Authenticity
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. If you are not satisfied with your painting, contact us within 30 days to initiate a return. The painting must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer unless the painting arrived damaged or was materially misdescribed. Review our full shipping and returns policy for details.
How are crypto payments refunded?
For crypto refunds, we return the USD value of your purchase in the same cryptocurrency using the exchange rate at the time of refund. Due to crypto price volatility, the amount of cryptocurrency you receive back may differ from the amount you originally sent, but the USD equivalent will match your purchase price. PayPal refunds are processed back to the original payment source.
Do paintings come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes. Every Lei-Kol original ships with a signed, dated Certificate of Authenticity at no extra cost. The certificate includes the artwork title, artist name, medium, dimensions, year of creation, unique certificate number, artist signature, and a statement of originality. Read more about our certificate of authenticity and what it includes.
What if my painting is damaged during shipping?
In the extremely unlikely event of transit damage, you are fully covered by our shipping insurance. Contact us immediately with photos of the damage — we will arrange repair, replacement, or refund, whichever you prefer. We have shipped hundreds of paintings without a single damage claim.
Commissions, Sizing & Care
Can I commission a custom painting?
Yes. Lei-Kol creates custom original paintings to your exact specifications — size, palette, mood, and style. The process begins with your brief, followed by a firm quote and concept sketches. A 50% deposit reserves your spot. Typical lead time is 4-8 weeks. Visit our custom commissions page to start the process.
What sizes are available?
Catalog paintings range from 24×30 inches (small) to 48×60 inches (large statement pieces). Custom commissions can be any size. Not sure what size fits your wall? Read our guide on how to choose the right painting size.
Are paintings framed?
Our paintings are sold unframed with gallery-wrapped canvas and painted edges, giving them a clean, contemporary presentation that is ready to hang as-is. The heavy texture wraps around the sides of the 1.5-inch deep canvas. If you prefer a framed look, we can recommend framing partners or discuss framing options during the purchase process.
How do I care for my painting?
Keep your painting out of direct sunlight to prevent fading over time. Dust gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a clean, soft-bristled brush — never use water, cleaning solutions, or abrasive materials on the textured surface. Avoid hanging in high-humidity areas like bathrooms or directly above heat sources. The heavy acrylic texture is durable but should be treated with the same care you would give any fine art.
How do I choose the right painting for my space?
Consider three things: size, palette, and mood. The painting should cover 60-75% of the available wall width above your furniture. Colors should complement or intentionally contrast your existing palette. The mood should match the room. If you need help, contact us with a photo of your wall — we will suggest pieces that work.
