Use the rotating program as civic context
The City says its Temporary Public Arts Program places rotating works in public locations and identifies the current sculptures and sites. Its City Hall Gallery separately presents recurring exhibitions by artists in a civic building. These programs show that Solana Beach supports multiple formats and temporary display, but they cannot establish private demand, authenticate an unrelated object, or imply that the City endorses a seller.
Prepare an object file with artist, title, date, medium, support, dimensions, weight, edition information where relevant, condition, and substantiated ownership history. Request current images of the face, reverse, edges, labels, signature, frame corners, and hardware. If a listing claims a relationship to a public-art work, gallery exhibition, or Solana Beach artist, ask for specific documentation and state the connection no more broadly than that evidence allows.
