Start with the Town's documented landscape history
The Town's history describes incorporation in 1961 after residents organized around a low-density rural-residential vision. Its 2022 General Plan includes a policy encouraging public art on Town property, in rights-of-way, and at properties governed by special-use permits. These are historical and planning records, not an inventory of installed art, proof of private preferences, or authentication for an unrelated object.
Build an object file with maker, title, date, medium, support, dimensions, weight, edition information where applicable, condition, and substantiated ownership history. Request recent photographs of the face, reverse, edges, labels, signature, frame, and mounting system. If a seller invokes a Paradise Valley property, collection, artist, or desert history, require specific documentation and avoid treating a general planning policy as evidence of that relationship.
