Use KZNSA as a current contemporary-art reference
KZNSA describes itself as a nonprofit contemporary-art space dedicated to advancing visual art and publishes its Glenwood address, exhibition information, and visiting times. Those facts make it a defensible place to study named current displays, materials, formats, labels, and curatorial choices. They do not authenticate an outside work or represent every Durban artist. Record the exhibition, artist, object label, visit date, and precise comparison instead of inventing a citywide style.
For a candidate artwork, create a separate record of artist, title, date, medium, dimensions, weight, edition or uniqueness, condition, provenance, rights, and supporting documents. Note whether a KZNSA comparison concerns technique, subject, display method, or historical context. Gallery presentation does not automatically transfer copyright, title, cultural authority, or endorsement. Uncertainty about attribution, community meaning, current availability, or lawful ownership should remain visible until a qualified primary source resolves it.
