Use MOMus to classify media and collection claims
MOMus brings together several public museums in Thessaloniki, including modern and contemporary art, photography, and experimental practices. Its collections span painting, sculpture, works on paper, photographs, installations, archives, and other media. That institutional range supports a disciplined vocabulary; it does not mean a privately offered work belongs to MOMus, appeared in the Biennale, or shares the history of a named collection.
Specify artist, title, date, materials, dimensions, weight, components, signatures, labels, edition, frame, glazing, operating needs, condition, restoration, and provenance. For photographs, record process, print date, paper, mount, and edition. For installations, inventory every element and obtain assembly documentation. Check donation, exhibition, catalogue, and ownership assertions against object-level sources rather than relying on a recognizable movement or Thessaloniki association.
