Use the Corfu Annex’s current status accurately
The National Gallery states that its Corfu Annex occupies the historic Castellino and Castelleto buildings in Kato Korakiana and currently hosts temporary exhibitions while its permanent collection display remains closed. That current status matters: collection ownership, temporary display, and annex location are different facts. An outside work gains no National Gallery history from sharing an artist, medium, landscape theme, or Corfu connection.
Create an object file with artist, title, date, medium, support, dimensions, weight, signatures, labels, edition, frame, glazing, condition, treatment, provenance, and exhibition documentation. Identify whether a cited work was merely exhibited, is owned by an institution, or came from a lender. For painting, print, sculpture, or mixed media, obtain format-specific photographs and independent review of disputed attribution, title, or conservation claims.
