Use MSU Zagreb’s media categories as a checklist
Zagreb’s official culture portal describes MSU as collecting, preserving, and presenting artistic practices from the second half of the twentieth century onward, with paintings, sculpture, installation, photography, video, and multimedia among its holdings. Collection custody, ownership, display, and documentation are distinct facts. None transfers to an outside work merely because it shares an artist or medium.
Record artist, title, date, medium, support, dimensions, weight, components, signatures, labels, edition, frame, glazing, condition, restoration, provenance, and exhibition evidence. For digital or media art, add source files, formats, hardware, software, rights, display instructions, and preservation responsibilities. Ask independent specialists to resolve disputed attribution, edition, ownership, title, or conservation issues before relying on commercial claims.
