Keep Castagnino and macro collections distinct
The municipality describes Castagnino's collection of roughly 4,700 paintings, sculptures, and print series spanning Argentine and European art. Its directory lists macro at a different riverfront site, while the 2026 program shows separate exhibitions and hours. These institutions support historical and contemporary comparison. They do not authenticate outside works or indicate private availability, and one building's display cannot represent Rosario-wide taste.
Create a candidate dossier with artist, title, date, medium, technique, dimensions, weight, condition, frame, provenance, and care needs. Identify which collection offers a useful comparison and why, preserving the exhibition date. Photograph the destination in ordinary use and measure normal sightlines. A silo conversion and a modern fine-arts building create different spatial effects, neither of which predicts fit in a private room.
